Exotic Stone Creations Disclaimer Notice


The following contains important disclaimers, warranty and additional information regarding the products and services offered by by Exotic Stone Creations Limited:

  1. All items purchased must be collected within five (5) working days to avoid contracting storage fees.
  2. Collection of purchased items will only be allowed with the original invoice. Exception to this rule will require participation in a comprehensive and lengthy verification procedure.
  3. No return on special order items.
  4. If customer has not effectively prepared the space for an efficient installation and Go-Back is required, customer must pay additional transportation cost.
  5. No return on granite, marble, quartz and other stones.
  6. No return on collected or delivered items after two (2) working days and without the original invoice.
  7. Returned items that met the original specification and satisfaction of the purchaser will incur a 20% restocking fee.
  8. No cash reimbursements for returned items only store credits will be offered.
  9. In circumstances where a refund is authorised, payment will be disbursed or made available within five (5) to seven (7) working days after authorisation.
  10. Purchased goods that are uncollected and remain in our warehouse will incur the following charges
    • From six (6) days to one (1) month the lesser of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) or 20% of the original invoiced cost.
    • In excess of one (1) month and up to one (1) year the lesser of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50.00.00) or 30% oft the original invoiced cost.
    • In excess of one (1) year and up to eighteen (18) months the lesser of Seventy Five thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) or 50% of the original invoiced cost.
    • Excess of eighteen (18) months the sale is null and void and no refund will be given.
  11. There is no warranty for countertop manufacturing and installation. Once the installation is completed, you or your representative is expected to review and sign an Assessment Form verifying a satisfactory completion of the job. This form is expected to be endorsed on site but if no authorised person was available you must communicate your verification via e-mail or attend our offices and endorse the said Assessment Form within two (2) working days. Failure to do so within the stipulated time frame will be interpreted as a successful and satisfactory installation. We will not be responsible for any damages or defects that are incurred or observed after this implicit or explicit sign-off.
  12. The warranty period for installed cabinets is one (1) year from the date of installation. This warranty is voided whenever:-
    • The cabinetry is stained or damaged by water or other substances.
    • There is evidence of clear misuse and mishandling.
    • There is a claim for termite infestation and the customer had failed to provide us with a copy of a certificate confirming that the location was treated for termite within six (6) months prior to installation.
  13. Customers have up to two (2) working days to communicate their dissatisfaction with an installation. In the interim you are encouraged not to sign any Assessment Form presented to you until your outstanding issues are resolved. Once the dissatisfaction is a result of details that were not included in the contract or inconsistent with your reasonable expectations we will waive the commencement of any applicable warranty and resolve the issue at our expense. However if this is not so, we will consider it a modification that will be done at a cost to you.


  1. All outstanding payments must be completed by the customer before cabinetry and countertop installations are conducted.
  2. Our Pfister faucets offer a lifetime guarantee on the finish and function.
  3. Granite and all other natural stones are unique. None are identical and similar stones may contain natural variations that contribute to their uniqueness. Please be aware of this fact when making your purchases.
  4. 50% of the invoiced amount for material and fabrication will be charged to customers’ who deposited or paid for the product and service but thereafter are requesting a refund.
  5. Modifications that are requested subsequent to the initial template and measurement of the site and which will require a new visitation will be done at a cost to the customer. This cost will include a new template and measurement fee plus the cost of transportation to the site.
  6. Listen carefully to the instructions provided by your sales representative and other company personnel with regards to the conditions you are required to meet, to allow a successful installation. When you have assured us that these conditions have been met, an appointment convenient to you will be scheduled to conduct the installation. Please be aware that if our installers keep that appointment and thereafter determine that the expected conditions you indicated were present are nonexistent, no installation will be conducted. To obtain another installation appointment a new transportation fee applicable to the existing rate and location must be paid.
  7. Photographs of the installation areas will be taken at the completion of every installation and placed on the customer file. This will provide verifiable evidence on the status of each installation on completion. If the customer does not allow the taking of these photographs, any warranty applicable to the installation is voided.
  8. Pick up small pieces every Friday between 9am-5pm.
